Q: What performance opportunities does FMDA offer? A: FMDA students may participate in both a Winter and Spring recital, as well as community service opportunities such as senior center and community performances.
Q: What competition opportunities does FMDA offer? A: While most of our students choose to be recreational dancers, we do have some students who love to compete. Modern dance students may compete in any competition in contemporary, lyrical, modern, or jazz. Irish students may compete in any open platform Irish dance competition.
Q: Do you offer scholarships? A: Yes. We believe every child deserves to dance and offer need based scholarships.
Q: What opportunities do you have for students to socialize? A: We hope to create a strong family community at FMDA and offer social gatherings throughout the year as well as a Big-Buddy/Little-Buddy program for little dancers to have an older dancer to look up to.
Q: What equipment do you have at your studio? A: We are equipped with barres, mirrors, a gymnastic mat, creative movement props, shoe sizing kits, and even shoe/costume rental or lending opportunities for students in need!
Q: Do you rent your space? A: FMDA is not in charge of rental of the space.
